YES Bank founder is  facing many problems, court rejects bail plea, Rana Kapoor will not be released from jail

New Delhi:- Private sector Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor, who returned to profit during the December 2020 quarter from the brink of drowning, is on the rise. Now the Bombay High Court has rejected his bail plea in the money laundering case. Rana Kapoor is currently lodged in Taloja Jail in Mumbai. Rana Kapoor was arrested in March 2020 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating the money laundering case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also investigating against Kapoor on allegations of irregularities in corporate governance.
Kapoor is accused of going wrong in lending to DHFL.

The Bombay High Court has rejected the bail plea of ​​YES Bank founder Rana Kapoor in the money laundering case. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating the case in March 2020. Rana Kapoor is currently lodged in Mumbai's Taloja Jail.

The Enforcement Directorate has alleged that Rana Kapoor has made a mistake in giving loan to DHFL and its companies. Please tell that Rana Kapoor and Ashok Kapoor founded the private sector Yes Bank in 2004. The bank went into losses in early 2020. The bank's non-performing assets (NPAs) also increased significantly. The situation became so bad that on 5 March 2020, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) took the command of the bank in its hands. Not only this, the board of Yes Bank was also dissolved by the central bank. Along with this, many types of restrictions were also imposed on Yes Bank.
